BREAKING: At least 1 dead in Texas tornado outbreak | LiveNOW from FOX

At least one death has been confirmed in Brazoria County, Texas after severe storms swept across the southeastern part of the state Saturday. The Brazoria County Sheriff's Office also confirmed that four others are suffering non-life-threatening injuries.

The mayor of Manvel, Dan Davis, also confirmed the death via "X" formerly known as Twitter. "I’ve received confirmation that tragically, one life was lost due to the tornado/storm coming through Brazoria County. Please join me in praying for all those impacted!" said Davis.

The sheriff's office says a tornado touched down between Liverpool and Hillcrest, Texas.

The National Weather Service has shared reports of multiple tornadoes across Southeast Texas as of 4:35 p.m. CT Saturday.
