I look at over $4600 in personal and business checking bonuses and compare them to see which deals are the best based on returns. I look at historic stock market S&P 500 returns and compare to the risk free returns offered from money market accounts and t-bill ETFs such as SGOV, USFR and SPAXX.

What is an acceptable bank bonus return? Is it 20%, 10%, 8%? I compare and look for a suitable return for the work of doing bank bonuses. Opportunity costs compared.

Capital Gains tax rates are compared to income tax rate to see just how much better or worse stocks are compared to bank bonus deals which are taxed as regular income.

Chase has some great checking account bonuses as well as Wells Fargo, Sofi, Chime and US Bank.
Both Chase & Wells Fargo have some great deals and some bad deals. I show why some deals are good and why some are not so good.
