A few disputes have broke out in this household over toys and food. After observing the dogs for a while it was apparent why. Every time one of the dogs had something the other dogs wanted it. They would Pester one and other and even take it.

After a while of doing this dogs can become less tolerant and eventually start guarding toys and food or other items. By stepping in and advocating for whomever has Z item this helps them relax, it also teaches the other dogs boundaries and respect for one and other and can help to prevent resource guarding.
