Budapest Szechenyi Chain Bridge

Описание к видео Budapest Szechenyi Chain Bridge

The Chain Bridge is the oldest suspension bridge in Budapest and spans the River Danube between Buda and Pest, the western and eastern sides of Budapest, the capital of Hungary. It took 20 years to build and was inaugurated in 1849. To one side, you’ve got the majestic Buda Castle looming large, and to the other, the stunning Hungarian Parliament Building flexing its architectural muscles. It’s a postcard waiting to happen, every angle more picturesque than the last. You catch the sunlight dancing off the water, and for a moment, it feels like the whole city is winking at you, saying, “Welcome to Budapest.” The most beautiful view of the bridge is just after nightfall when the iron overpass and the Buda Castle are both beautifully lit up.
