Running Every O Scale Boxcar I own. Triple Tail Chaser. Boxcar Challenge. The Boxcar Kaleidoscope.

I don’t even know what to title this so it gets four titles. This is inspired by Bill B’s Holiday Boxcar Challenge. I have no holiday themed boxcars, I just figured I’d see if I could fit all of my boxcars on my layout at once and if I could keep them moving without any major failures.
This was a good bit of work and fun to set up. It was like Christmas. I found cars that I forgot I even had.
This is about every modern manufacturer that I know of including Crown Models. The majority of my refrigerated boxcars are K-line and there are a few that should really just be display pieces due to the value but I don’t buy trains just to watch them sit on a shelf. In total there are 93 boxcars and 3 cabooses
This is a few impressive feats mixed into one big one. I personally feel like the K-Line Semi Scale PRR GG1 pulling 29 40’ boxcars plus a Caboose is a big deal. Now I’m really curious about how much more it can handle.
This wasn’t much of a Challenge for the MTH Premier NS AC6000. It could probably pull every car here and not have wheel slip. It is pulling 2 60’ Double Door Boxcars and 28 40’ Boxcars.
The MTH Premier WM F-3 ABA on the outer loop is pulling 7 50’ boxcars and 27 40’ boxcars. This is the only train that had an issue. There was a K-line boxcar that had Zinc rot I had not noticed and the trucks didn’t hold up. Not too bad for having this all running for roughly 10 minutes in total. I really expected more issues on this loop due to it being the tightest curves I have and only having one powered unit for that many scale cars. I do have a powered B unit but I’m having issues with the tether right now so I left it out of the equation.
