Balaton lake in summer is a tradition in Hungary. People all over the country come here to chill the hot weather and enjoy the beautiful water of this freshwater lake at Balaton.

Balaton lake is the largest lake in central Europe. That's why you can choose which part of Balaton you would like to visit. I have been to Balaton lake over 4 times already, but for the first time to the Siofok region. this means there is always a new region to explore in Balaton.

Budapest and Balaton lake would be the best of Hungary according to me if you are a tourist. Although I did get a chance to explore Hungarian cities, if you are a tourist I think these two cities can entertain you for more than a week.
