Resident Doctor medicine at GMERS attacked while doing CPR

In yet another case that depicts the growing violence against doctors in India a resident doctor of Medicine department and other staff at Gmers Medical College, Junagadh, Gujarat were attacked by the patient's relatives while he was doing CPR.

This happened as doctors across the country are on strike demanding justice for a Kolkata doctor who was brutally raped and killed as well as demanding the central government to implement an Act to prevent Violence against Doctors.
