There are many vernacular fad dances that have come out, including the Shim Sham Shimmy and the Big Apple. Now we have a new dance to join the family, called the LA Swing Dance Posse Routine. It is a 32 bar phrase vernacular dance, choreographed by legendary Chester Whitmore (a.k.a. The Lord of the Swing). This original dance routine was created for the dance group, LA Swing Dance Posse, directed by Arthur White. With the help of The Central Avenue Dance Ensemble dancing alongside the LA Swing Dance Posse, the routine made its premier debut at Rusty’s Rhythm Club in Playa Del Rey, California, on May 23, 2018. This fun and energetic dance can be done to any 32 bar phrase song, but it is choreographed to Kid Kasino’s Swinging On Nuthin remix. It is a fast routine, so don’t blink!
