Acatenengo Volcano Hike, Guatemala

Hike with me up Volcan de Acatenengo in Guatemala to see the active volcano, Fuego, erupting! This was an overnight hike, and was the highest altitude I have ever hiked. It was worth it!

I booked with Wicho & Charlie's, which I definitely recommend!! They provided gear, carried the large bags 80% of the way, and I paid Q100 for a porter to carry mine the rest of the way. They provided food and prepared it, plus we had shelter, beds and blankets. The guides were outstanding, and the people I met from all over the world were so fun to be with!
