Caring For Our Patients at the Cancer Patient Support Center

Miami Cancer Institute's Cancer Patient Support Center is a department that’s dedicated to taking care of the physical, emotional and social needs of our cancer patients as they go through their cancer journey. Miami Cancer Institute has everything the patient could possibly need, from pain management to spiritual guidance to acupuncture to healthy living choices. And also to recover a lot of functions they may have lost during cancer surgery, radiation or chemotherapy. Once they’re done with treatment, life goes on. And you have to see how you’re going to adjust to that new life now that you’re a survivor. So we have an incredible survivorship program to also address those needs. We’re also addressing the needs of the family members too, because we know cancer impacts the entire family. The personalized, customized care is what makes Miami Cancer Institute very unique.
