Jummeraat Bazar @ Chor bazaar is not your usual street shopping place composed of many mortar shops. It is a temporary bazaar that is setup every thursday. Perhaps that's why it's also called as Jummeraat bazaar (thursday called jummeraat in urdu).

It’s located near the puranapul to Dhoolpet Road stretch. The entire roadside is covered with many small vendors selling a lot of low priced used items not stolen stuff I repeat not stolen stuff. Items like Tools, fake jewellery, bicycles, footwear, cooking gear, gym equipment, General store items, Antique Articles, Electeonic Gadgets, TVs, Kitchen ware such as, Mixer Grinders, Gas Stoves, Rice Cookers, Electric Rice Cookers, Baking items, etc …u name it and you will find it here. You need to bargain the price. I am sure you will get at very good price. Due to 1 or 2 incidents it has been named as Chor Bazar but most of the vendors used to purchase the used items and resell it by adding a small margin. Perhaps few of households used to come this street and sell their items to these vendors also.

It stays well untill 4pm after which the vendors leave and begins around 5am. Most appropriate time to visit the Bazar is 8 am to 1 pm as all the vendors arrange their temporary set up.
