Basic 3 speed automatic transmission - GearBlocks

So, the idea came to me while watching a video using centrifugal clutches to build an automatic transmission. I thought while under load, input speed might lower as soon as it entered a gear and maybe throwing it out. So, I started thinking of another way and came up with this. The way it works is by using a worm gear and a clutch gear, I can control how much the lever slips. this gives me the 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear changes. With the spring, it keeps pressure on the lever to get it back into 1st gear. with some adjusting, I found a good balance between the gear position relative to the rpm. The spring dampening also helps with jerky gear and rpm changes.
