Frito Pie Brisket - Recipe


Frito Chips
Chopped Brisket
Southern Style Molasses Barbecue Sauce (see below)
Quick & Easy Queso (see below), optional

Directions
If the Fritos are in a small bag, add in the brisket and barbecue sauce, stir and enjoy!

Otherwise, place the Fritos in a bowl, add in the brisket and barbecue sauce, stir and enjoy!

Optional - top it with some queso!

Southern Style Molasses Barbecue Sauce

⅓ cup molasses
¼ cup of white vinegar
1 small can of tomato sauce- around 8 ounces
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon freshly ground or coarse black pepper
¼ teaspoon of salt

Directions
Add everything to a saucepan.
Turn heat to medium.
Stir occasionally while the sauce reduces by ¼ or ⅓.


Quick & Easy Queso

1 pound of Velveeta, cut into cubes
1 can of Ro-Tel with green chilies


Directions
Combine all ingredients in a microwaveable bowl
Nuke it on high for 3 minutes, then stir.
Continue to nuke it for 2 minutes or until the Velveeta is melted.
