THIS IS IT! The one you have all been waiting for!
Review of the WnW abatros D.V of Baron Manfred Von Richthofen, (THE RED BARON) kit.
Now rarer than rocking horse manure, this is one of the most classic WnW kits and includes the Red Baron resin figure. This model kit has been out of production for some time and is very hard to find.
CORRECTION: The Red Baron's 'flying circus' squadron was re-equipped with the Fokker Dr.1 Triplane in mid summer 1917 and it was in that aircraft he was shot down. He had recently suffered a combat-related head wound and was thought to possibly be suffering from PTSD or even have some minor brain damage as he seemingly made some uncharacteristic errors that contributed to him being fataly wounded by ground fire from Australian / British infantry and crash landing near Vaux-sur-Somme. He died of his wounds (to the chest) almost immediately.
But it was in this lovely Albatros plane that the red baron scored 75% of his aerial victories.
Thanks for watching...more videos coming soon...
