Timber Wolf (MadCat) 3D Model from MechWarrior Online - Assembly Guide | Gambody

Описание к видео Timber Wolf (MadCat) 3D Model from MechWarrior Online - Assembly Guide | Gambody

TimberWolf 3D model is inspired by MechWarrior Online video game’s bipedal vehicle. The in-game Battletech robot is a heavy and fast machine, regardless of its 12-tons weight. The machine moves swiftly on the battlefield, capable of shooting a fire of long-range missiles and protecting its fellow mechs from the damage.

MadCat, as it is known by the gamers, features heavy armor, which protects the mech from battle damage. In its arsenal, TimberWolf has both long and close-range missiles, lasers and machine guns.

The MWO Mech model features a twisting body and workable hands and feet. The feet pedals have articulation mechanisms to ensure mobility.

It is a high-poly model, counting 701564 polygons. It took about 40 hours to model, considering every articulation mechanism and every graphic detail.

All in all, the 3D MadCat model consists of 38 separate parts. All parts have been modeled in Maya and checked in Netfabb. They are optimized to be handled in any slicing program and printed on any type of 3D printer.

We’ve put up a detailed video assembly guide to help you build your very own MechWarrior vehicle. Follow the instructions and join parts together with care. And finally, apply a little pressure, to avoid damaging the already printed parts.

After the assembly, your model will stand 250mm tall, 137mm deep, and 178mm wide.

Don’t stop at having TimberWolf 3D printed. Apply paint and give it the in-game look that you’re so used to.
