Now as most of you are likely aware, when it was announced the other week that R-Truth had been unceremoniously released from WWE, it was revealed just hours after Truth's release that Judgment Day member and wrestling legend Carlito had also been released, with Carlito taking to social media and announcing that WWE would not be renewing his contract, the same situation that R-Truth was dealing with. However, thankfully in R-Truth's case, the fan backlash was so insane that Triple H and WWE were basically forced to reconsider their decision of releasing him, with the company inevitably bringing Truth back at Money in the bank just one week after his release, and since being brought back, R-Truth has become an even bigger focal point of TV, taking on a more serious character and continuing his feud with John Cena. However, the same unfortunately cannot be said for Carlito. Because of how much attention R-Truth's release got, Carlito's release sadly flew under the radar, with there not being nearly as much backlash from fans regarding his departure from WWE, despite being a major part of TV with his involvement with The Judgment Day, and sadly, WWE are clearly not going to be changing their mind when it comes to releasing Carlito, as it was confirmed this morning that Carlito has indeed departed WWE, officially becoming a free agent today after his contract with WWE expired. Carlito took to his social media to reveal that he's "back in business" and accepting bookings for wrestling shows moving forward, meaning that Carlito's release was very much real, and he isn't going to be brought back like R-Truth. Now it's honestly pretty sad that Carlito's run ended the way it did, because much like R-Truth, Carlito provided comic-relief every time he appeared on TV, and was really the highlight of The Judgment Day. The fact that Carlito has officially been released actually proves once-and-for-all that R-Truth's release wasn't a work or part of the show like Triple H insinuated at the Money in the bank press conference (WWE Hindi India Explained). Truth and Carlito had been released the same day and for the same reason, with the company choosing not to renew their contracts, and the only reason that R-Truth isn't a free agent in wrestling today like Carlito, is because of all the fan backlash this past week, and this is a good reminder that fans voices matter.
