Gmail SMTP Server Not Working with Hikvision/ Dahua Motion E-mail Alerts

In this video, we cover why the Gmail SMTP server is no longer working with Hikvision and Dahua motion activated e-mail alerts. Gmail made a change to their security settings in March 2022 that prevents third party devices from using it's email exchange server using only username and password. We teach viewers how to use another SMTP server to receive motion activated alerts once again!
