Why is Kylo Ren’s lightsaber super unstable?

Cuz compared to other lightsabers that we see in Star Wars, he doesn’t have a stable blade but it was shaky and crackly as if something was broken!

And something was in fact broken cuz the Kyber Crystal that Kylo used was actually cracked!

This happened cuz when he was bleeding his crystal to make it the red color we know today, he believed and insisted that he fully embraced the dark side.

But as we know, Kylo always had a small glimmer of light still inside him.

Therefore, he didn’t actually bleed his crystal 100% which led to his crystal cracking!

And with his crystal cracked, he designed his lightsaber hilt in the crossguard style to redirect the extra heat so that the lightsaber didn’t overload and explode!
