It is with heavy hearts that we report the passing of Drake Hogestyn, the iconic actor who portrayed John Black on Days of Our Lives for nearly four decades. Hogestyn, who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer, was beloved by fans and co-stars alike. His memorable performances alongside Deidre Hall as Marlena Evans helped define one of daytime TV's most iconic couples. In this video, we honor his legacy and look back at his 38 years on Days, as well as his roles in TV movies and series such as "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers." Rest in peace, Drake.
