eSPC: an online data analysis platform for molecular biophysics

eSPC is a free online platform for the analysis of data from diverse molecular biophysics experiments, developed and released by the Sample Preparation and Characterisation (SPC) Facility at EMBL Hamburg and at the Center for Structural Systems Biology (CSSB).

The eSPC platform enables scientists to analyse their data much easier than before, and without the need to travel to the laboratory where the data was generated. eSPC helps with the analysis of interactions between various biological molecules and can be applied in many research fields, including structural biology, biomedicine, and biotechnology.

The SPC Facility is located directly next to the EMBL beamlines at the PETRA III synchrotron on the DESY Campus in Hamburg. The team offers a pipeline from the lab bench to the macromolecular crystallography and SAXS beamlines, helping users to optimise and prepare their samples for structural studies.
