These songs were recorded on Mac OS X 10.6 using the standard MIDI banks (using OpenTTD 1.0.2). 2004 saw the release of the first version of OpenTTD, a reverse engineered version of the original. It's still in development as of today and can be downloaded for free from http://openttd.org/. (This soundtrack release has no connection whatsoever to the OpenTTD project.)
