The Sound of Power

The latest five-cylinder powerplant carries on the tradition of Audi Sport® performance. The all-new Audi RS 3 Sedan features a 2.5-liter TFSI® turbocharged engine that’s known for its unique firing order and inimitable sound, producing 400 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. The distinct engine note can be controlled by opening the flaps of the standard RS exhaust system.

Engine - What lies beneath

The RS 3 Sedan features the all-new 2.5L TFSI® engine paired with a seven-speed S tronic® dual clutch transmission. Producing 400 hp, the five-cylinder engine has a total displacement of 2.5 liters — which equates to 160 hp per liter. The maximum torque of 354 lb-ft is available at engine speeds as low as 1,700 rpm and remains constant up to 5,850 rpm. As a result, the RS 3 Sedan can sprint from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds — a powerful force to be reckoned with.

quattro® all-wheel drive

The RS 3 Sedan employs permanent quattro® all-wheel drive with no set torque distribution. The all-wheel drive system adjusts and fine-tunes to help maximize grip and overall control, sending as much power to the rear wheels as possible.
Stopping power

The RS 3 Sedan offers a choice between two braking systems, both helping to limit the fade and weight deficiencies of traditional applications. The standard brakes are equipped with eight-piston monobloc brake calipers with 370 mm ventilated discs.

The available Audi virtual cockpit is a fully digital 12.3-inch instrument display that allows the driver to customize information such as navigation and audio, offering Classic and Infotainment modes as well as Google Earth™. The RS 3 Sedan has a third option: Sport mode, which displays a large, central tachometer and performance statistics, such as a lap timer, horsepower and torque gauge, G-meter, and if equipped with the Dynamic plus package, tire pressures and temperatures.
