Button Question from Student

Student Question that this video attempts to answer:

1. I think I have sewn it ok, and added bond to the collar, collar stand, and both placket pieces.
When I simulate however, the button placket pulls and gaps. When I put on the stress and strain maps, it looks like there is no strain, so why is the button placket pulling funny? Any input or suggestions would be appreciated. If you can check to see if I did the sewing right, that would be amazing. It is really throwing me, how different the operations are for 3D sewing vs real life sewing.
2. Additionally, I have figured out how to make the button holes smaller, but I cannot figure out how to change their orientation so that they are vertical and not horizontal. I know this must be an easy fix, but I can't figure it out.
