Spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to make this one work. I always loved the little electro beat at the beginning of "Vegeta Vs Goku" by Mike Smith, which is used as Vegito's Theme in the Faulconer Productions DBZ soundtrack. But the track makes a turn into the battle they are having, or the impending approach of Buu as he rushes to kill them before they fuse. My personal opinion is that the electro beat is Vegito, in all of his effortlessness, his carefreeness, and is badass-ness ;) The rest of the original track just represent's Buu's struggle against him or the struggle between Goku and Vegeta. But together, in fusion, they are a force to be reckoned with, easily the pinnacle of power in DBZ. I also used "Vegeta's Red Power" and "SSJ Transformation" by Mike Smith to represent each side of the fusion, and finally I wanted to include "No More" by Norihito Sumitomo to showcase his evolution in Dragon Ball Super to SSJ God and SSJ Blue. I worked hard not only on the track but also the art! This was a fun one to make, but in the words of George Lucas after watching his first edit of The Phantom Menace, "I might have gone a bit far in some places"... Haha... But I will say to wrap this up, Vegito's personality always seemed different to Gogeta's, maybe the magic of the Potara and the Fusion Dance bring forth a different selection of character traits, and there was this sense that Vegito was more fun and Gogeta was more serious. That said, I love them both and it actually makes sense to me that the existence of two different kinds of fusions of Goku & Vegeta would yield different results, and therefore I feel like this piece of music took on a lighter, yet equally as charismatic tone than the Gogeta theme I worked on. Enjoy!
