Chevrolet Suburban 2500 - American Exceptionalism

Take a tour of my 2000 2500 Chevrolet Suburban as I discuss why I like these monstrosities. The Suburban is the longest running automotive nameplate; since 1934 there has been a Suburban. They must be doing something right!

The combination of the LQ4, 4L80E and HD Suspension on the 2500 are rock solid. There are more powerful versions, definitely more fuel efficient and much more expensive variants. I think the gmt800 was the sweet spot when it was new and has aged wonderfully. Modern enough to enjoy, old enough to be able to repair and affordable enough to get a clean example under 10k.
