Описание к видео Original Owner 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302

This is a red trackey-equipped 2012 Ford Mustang BOSS 302 with just over 3,100 miles and is on consignment from the original owner, selling with NO RESERVE on Bring a Trailer from Cascio Motors.

Produced for just 2 years in 2012 and 2013, the Ford Mustang BOSS 302 is a track-focused weapon that pays homage to its 60’s Trans Am racing predecessor. This particular car is #1265 delivered to new to Auburn Ford Lincoln Mercury in Auburn, California where it was purchased by the current owner with an MSRP of $43,575 with the 500A equipment package. The sale includes the owner’ kit, a track key, a car cover, original purchase documents, service records, and a Deluxe Marti Report.

This BOSS 302 is 1 of 589 finished in performance white with a black BOSS graphics package including a black roof, unique hood stripe, and BOSS 302 side stripe. The BOSS 302 features a power bulge hood with unique fascia and blacked-out grille, front splitter, black rear spoiler, and 19-inch black painted aluminum wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zeros.

The BOSS 302 features a special trackey which enabled extra features and tuning.
The Red Trackey was included with every boss 302 but had to be programmed at extra cost. Once installed, using the red key with 91 octan gas or higher gave the driver access to driver adjustable launch control, driver-adjustable pit lane speed control, and a lopey idle. The Trackey also automatically calibrates the engine with similar software to the Ford Performance Turn key racecars by adjusting cam timing, engine braking, ignition timing, wide-open throttle fueling, accelerator pedal map, idle speed, and throttle response.

The interior is charcoal black with an alcantara-wrapped steering wheel and the optional manually adjustable Recaro BOSS 302 cloth bucket seats which feature heavy bolstering. The interior also features air conditioning, a machine-turned aluminum trim, BOSS package floor mats, a unique door scuff plate, and a unique black shift knob.

Underneath, the BOSS 302 features an upgraded suspension with 5-way adjustable dampers, stiffer springs, a thicker rear stabilizer bar, new bushings, and Brembo disc brakes with 14-inch rotors. The electronically assisted steering rack can be toggled to comfort, standard, or sport driving modes which alter the driving feel. The BOSS uses a unique four-way exhaust with two rear exit pipes standard, but a removable restrictor plate allows for easy installation of the BOSS side pipes for a surround sound exhaust experience.

Power comes from an upgraded 5.0 liter Coyote V8 dubbed Road Runner engine by Fords development teams, producing 444 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. The 32 horsepower increase comes courtesy of new machined cylinder heads, intake manifold with runners, new camshafts, new bearings, larger intake valves, air induction system, and a baffled oil pan.
The Road Runner V8 is paired with a close ratio 6-speed manual transmission and Torsen Helical 3.73 ratio limited slip differential sending power to the rear wheels.
Weighing 3,621 pounds, the BOSS 302 archives 0-60 in just 4.3 seconds, a ¼ mile in 12.8 seconds, with a limited top speed of 155 miles per hour.

Given its high-performance nature, the BOSS 302 isn’t known for fuel efficiency. It has a thirsty appetite for gasoline, with EPA-estimated fuel economy figures of around 15-17 miles per gallon in the city and 23-26 miles per gallon on the highway. With a combined economy of 19 miles per gallon and a 16-gallon fuel tank, gives this Mustang an estimated 304 miles of range.

The 2012 Ford Mustang BOSS 302 is a true enthusiast's car. It pays homage to the classic muscle car era while incorporating modern engineering and performance enhancements. With its powerful V8 engine, track-focused suspension, and iconic design, the BOSS 302 offers an unforgettable driving experience for those who crave raw power and precision on road or track. This example is one of the lowest mileage examples around and comes fully optioned and ready to go.
