On Tuesday, July 29, NSBA Chairman Michael Canty and President & CEO Todd McCracken led a policy discussion with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) on small-business access to capital.

Hosted by Visa, the morning began with a fireside chat featuring SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler, and Kim Lawrence, Regional President of North America at Visa. Together, we discussed the evolving landscape for small businesses and the importance of public-private collaboration in supporting long-term resilience.

Following the fireside chat, Denise Press, Visa’s Head of Small Business for North America, moderated a panel discussion on access to capital with team NSBA, including firsthand, small-business owner perspectives on navigating the capital landscape.
