Here’s the truth: no matter how much you plan your visit based on crowd predictions, Kumbh is crowded every single day! So be prepared and gear up for a once-in-a-lifetime experience! 😍

Here are a few tips to make your visit smoother:

1. Comfortable Footwear is a Must! - Whether you’ve got insider knowledge or not, you’ll likely walk at least 12-13 km each day. Be ready to remove your shoes at certain points as well. So, wear something that’s comfortable and easy to take off.

2. Carry a Mask and Shades - The dust and sand can be overwhelming, so having mask and glasses on hand is a lifesaver, especially if you’re sensitive to dust (like me!).

3. Bring Snacks with You - Food and water are available, but the eating joints are open-air and can get quite dusty. It’s a good idea to carry something light to munch on for convenience.

4. Don’t Stress About Missing Out! - Kumbh is massive, and there’s something happening everywhere. If you’re only there for a day or two, don’t worry about missing things! Embrace the experience and enjoy the moment—you’ll still see a lot!

5. Secure Your Belongings - There have been reports of pickpocketing. To stay safe, use a chained sling bag to keep your valuables like your phone and wallet secure.

Travel Tips for Those Coming From Nearby Cities (like Lucknow or Kanpur) - Be aware that there may be restrictions on entry for taxis from other cities. Always check the local rules, keep your phone charged, and make sure your petrol tank is full.
