Chana Masala Recipe (Chana Batata) | Indian Cooking Recipes | Cook with Anisa

Chana Masala Recipe. Today we are making a classic indian snack style dish called Channa Masala with spicy potatoes, or sometimes called Chana Batata, which is always popular and a favourite at parties, gatherings, BBQ’s or anything really.
As always all the ingredients you can buy form your local supermarket, and it’s very easy to make!!

Ingredients:
1 tin of chick peas
1 tin of black chick peas
2 medium potatoes par-boiled & cut into chunks
3 tablespoons of sweetcorn
1 teaspoon of mustard seeds
A few curry leaves
2 tablespoons of oil
Chilli to taste, Ive got here 1 teaspoon
1 teaspoon cumin powder
Half teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon paprika powder
200 grams of passata or you can also use tinned tomato
3 tablespoons tomato ketchup
Half teaspoon garlic paste
1 tablespoon sugar

To garnish use fresh corriander and chopped red onion. As well as anything crunchy like popcorn, crisps, bombay mix etc.
