The victim profile remains the same across the decades. College-aged males who are last seen in the early morning hours at venues like clubs and bars, they are frequently intoxicated and isolated before their bodies are recovered after tragically drowning. Some claim these bodies are unceremoniously discarded in bodies of water. Multiple victims are discovered within the same day or week, some having disappeared from the same location. These cases have many similarities to each other and to the recent drownings in Chicago's Lake Michigan and Austin's Lady Bird Lake.
