EVANSVILLE WESTERN RAILWAY TRAFFIC JAM!!!

Описание к видео EVANSVILLE WESTERN RAILWAY TRAFFIC JAM!!!

The positive side to working in the middle of nowhere White county is seeing the Evansville Western Railway on occasion. Upon leaving work yesterday, I spotted an empty EVWR coal train between Carmi and Enfield. I found a country road east of McLeansboro and waited for the coal train. And waited. Then waited some more. I heard MCL1 on the scanner but couldn't make out where it was before my scanner died (haven't used it in a while, LoL). Then there was a horn from the east. It's finally here. The units finally came around the curve with two CSX ES40DC's. Not the coal trian! But, a ballast train with a mix of CSX and Herzog ballast hoppers. Once it passed, I did a little investigating and found MCL1 stopped on the main about a mile to the east. He got on the move there, and then I chased him to the next crossing, getting more video. Now, where is this coal train? It took about 45 minutes or so, and it showed up. Probably had to wait for the ballast train and MCL1 to get in the clear. He came cruising by with a mix of GBRX, BNBX, CITX, FLPX and PAL cars, to name a few. After it passed, I headed to Sugar Camp to see it pull in the mine trackage.
