Eating huge Danish oysters⚠️ Almost too big for my mouth ⚠️ With spicy seafood sauce | Yainang

Описание к видео Eating huge Danish oysters⚠️ Almost too big for my mouth ⚠️ With spicy seafood sauce | Yainang

Chili dip or seafood sauce:

10 fresh chilies
2 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp. of coriander
2 tbsps. of fish sauce
1 tsp. of sugar
2 tbsp. of lime or lemon juice
1 tbsp. of Sriracha

Blend all the ingredients together in a food processor.

Today we have deep sea oysters, so they're bigger than the ones we usually see in Danish beaches. I made my usual spicy seafood sauce with pla ra (fermented fish sauce) and I also ate them with bitter beans and crispy fried onions. You can also make Hoi Tod [oyster pancakes] with them, but you should use smaller ones.

I froze them.

0:00:03
I just took them out.

0:00:04
Leave them there for 2 hours and they'll open like this.

0:00:09
It makes it easier when I eat.

0:00:11
I used to shuck them, but now I don't have to anymore.

0:00:16
Let's see how I open them!

0:00:19
I bought them from a fisherman.
[CC: I didn't harvest these.]

0:00:21
When they're big like this, it's usually from a fisherman.

0:02:31
Welcome to Gin Pai Thai Rang!

0:02:34
Hello, everybody!

0:02:36
So... what do we have today?

0:02:42
This is my favorite dish.

0:02:44
Many people asked, "Yai, when are you picking oysters again?".

0:02:47
So... the oyster season is around October to April.

0:02:56
You can still pick them after September.

0:02:58
But you could get sick since they're not as fresh.

0:03:01
That's why I keep them in the freezer.

0:03:03
So you could wonder, "Can I pick oysters everyday?"

0:03:08
Yes, you can.

0:03:08
But too many and I end up losing my appetite.

0:03:13
Also oysters are not a common ingredient to cook with in here.

0:03:18
And I'm quite old too, so I try to eat...

0:03:22
I want to eat them, but it's scary at the same time.

0:03:26
Now I feel more hungry than scared.

0:03:29
It's not just you guys, but I also missed them.

0:03:33
I wish I could take you there.

0:03:35
You already know I moved out this year.

0:03:38
It doesn't mean that I'll be stuck between these walls indefinitely after moving in.

0:03:43
It's just that after everything...

0:03:45
I'm tired.

0:03:49
I don't have enough time to rest.

0:03:51
Before I lived in an apartment and did housework already.

0:03:53
But we had a gardener taking care of the garden.

0:03:57
And a maintenance technician.

0:03:59
But having my own house is like...

0:04:01
I have to do everything by myself.

0:04:04
It takes time to settle in.

0:04:06
I apologize.

0:04:07
But next year...

0:04:10
I'll have plenty of activities to do next year.

0:04:13
Because we'll be done settling in.

0:04:15
And I won't go anywhere.

0:04:18
All right!

0:04:19
That was a lot of talk. Sorry about that.

0:04:21
Let's eat!

0:04:31
Let me tell you something about picking big oysters.

0:04:35
See? Here is quite flat.

0:04:37
Right here.

0:04:38
And now this one. This looks curved.

0:04:41
It means that this one is big.

0:04:43
You have to choose the curved ones.

0:04:46
Don't pick the flat ones. They're usually small.

0:04:50
Let's get started now!

0:04:57
I forgot to bring the lemon.

0:05:01
I'm going to start with a flat one.

0:05:07
Lemon.

0:05:19
Hot sauce.

0:05:24
This chili paste is great.

0:05:26
Chua Hah Seng. Chua Hah Seng chili paste.

0:05:35
It's oily.

0:05:36
I'll leave it down there.

0:06:58
Time for the second one!

0:07:07
I forgot what I should add first.

0:07:10
It's been so long.

0:07:15
[Singing]

0:07:20
It's been a long, long time...

0:07:25
Chili sauce.

0:07:30
Crispy fried onion.

0:07:37
I love this moment.

0:07:39
The crispy fried onion moment.

0:07:40
Not too much because it's hard to bite.

0:08:17
Soft.

0:08:20
It's soft and...

0:08:23
Firm and soft.

0:09:08
I leave them here.

0:09:11
Pile them up here.

0:09:39
Let's go!

0:09:42
I've turned my engine on.

0:09:47
I should cut it.

0:09:51
It will be easier to eat.

0:10:18
Great!

0:10:29
I have to eat chili paste.

0:10:32
Come here!

0:10:39
I should have a bitter bean with this.

0:11:13
That is what I love!

0:11:38
I'll eat here.

0:12:28
That was a bitter bean.

0:12:48
I'll make a salad with this one.

0:13:12
All right, guys. See you and be blessed with wealth! Bye!
