Turtle Rescues in Northern Ontario

Hello and welcome to the channel! Join me this spring on our Northern Ontario roadways, where I work to protect these vulnerable creatures from the dangers of vehicle traffic. This video highlights the challenges faced by turtles during their nesting season and the steps taken to help ensure their safety. Then a little later you get a peak at the snapping turtle I rescued and rehabilitated several years ago before we close out the video with a skulk of foxes (natural predators to the turtle), and their interactions with the turtles and the traffic. Together, let's remember the importance of conservation and the impact of human activities on Northern Ontario's wildlife."
