Corners of the Sky, Shakedown St. DIY, August 17th 2024

Back at it again at SHAKEDOWN, the shared abode of many legendary Lawrence musicians... Summertime house shows are too few and far between, but it's always a rippin' time!

This insane set follows our hosts Captain Howdy and the Sunset Serenaders (who have been hitting it out of the park lately with their new music AND opener gigs to boot) and precedes our friends with Sputnik (who have the most impressive single out rn).

As you've likely noticed, integral rhythm guitarist Ravi is not featured in this performance. As much as I'd love to say he simply couldn't make it, unfortunately, that's not the case. Ravi is taking a hiatus from the group for the foreseeable semester to focus on some personal things. We keep in contact with him, rest assured... We wish him well and can only hope for his eventual return.

Sad news aside, we've got HELLA content coming out these next few months!!

1. An official "Dingle" -- (noun) clever wordplay combining the words "double" and "single" -- is out Friday the 13th of September!! It features such classics (played somewhere in this video) as "Psychedelic Cat" and "WAX!"

2. MORE VIDEOS in short (TikTok) and long forms with mixed audio and multiple camera angles!

3. EVEN MORE SONGS in an upcoming EP we are working on RIGHT THE HELL NOW!!

Our next gig is at Sk8bar's new KC location on Sept 12th, the day before our Dingle drops (I audibly chuckled typing that). After that, RINO KC (9/27) to celebrate Strange Relic's album release!
