The Wetter Box is the second wave of the original Wet Box from GigRig which allowed you to a blend your dry signal with any other effect in parallel. The Wetter retains the original features while adding a second effects loop, letting you blend between two pedals with a single knob or expression pedal.
The key to the Wetter Box is that it mixes the loops in parallel, as opposed to series, like standard pedalboards. Much like the faders on a mixing board, the Mix control can either blend/crossfading between loops or have loop A on constantly while loop B is mixed on top. Accomplishing this hands-free means you can fade in your time-based effects, or glide from one type of dirt pedal to the next like a pro.
The robust OptoKick footswitch turns both effects on at once and can be configured for true bypass or trails mode which means you can finally have spillover on that vintage tape echo or reverb pedal after bypass. For maximum compatibility with effects loops and stereo rigs, the Wetter Box has stereo in/outs, gain controls for each loop and a phase reverse switch for loop B. And since it is from the GigRig, the Wetter Box can be treated like any mono or stereo pedal and be placed within a loop switcher such as the Quartermaster or G2.
