Silent Hill: Origins Walkthrough Part 3: The Butcher

With nothing else to find in Alchemilla Hospital, Travis heads out and decides to continue his investigation of Silent Hill in Cedar Grove Sanitorium, to that end being forced to set off back onto the fog-covered and abandoned streets of Silent Hill which are now swarming with more aggressive, grotesque, straight-jacketed monsters. With the main roads leading towards Cedar Grove having inexplicably collapsed, leaving them impassable, Travis is forced to cut through the nearby butcher shop in order to reach the sanitorium. As he does, he witnesses an grotesque monster resembling an masked man dressed in butcher's garb cutting up and killing an deformed nurse with its massive meat cleaver before leaving. After witnessing the gory display, Travis pushes on towards the sanitorium and eventually reaches it. While searching the building's lower floor, he finds an patient file from 1960 detailing the woman who was institutionalized in the building due to severe psychological issues which were excerbated further by her husband and child who estranged themselves from her due to her poor mental health. Eventually, while walking through the hospital, Travis encounters an mysterious woman who walked away from the burning house where he rescued Alessa Gillespie. As he asks her about her involvement with the fire and why did she leave, Travis discovers that the woman is Alessa's mother, that the house that burned down with Alessa inside was her home and even more disturbingly, that she purposefully left Alessa to burn within the house. After being pressed for Alessa's fate by Travis, woman cryptically reveals that Alessa is still alive, contrary to Lisa's claims that she died from her injuries, having been left with "people who care for her". As she leaves, woman warns Travis not to trust the apperations of Alessa as the girl "doesn't know what she is doing", also refering to Travis by name despite him having never divulged it to her. Despite Travis demanding for the woman to explain herself, she walks off, leaving Travis to continue exploring the sanitorium alone...
