Hailing from the Birmingham area in the UK, the Applejacks signed with Decca in 1963 and reached the UK Top-10 with their debut single, “Tell Me When”. The disc also bubbled under in the US at #135 in June, 1964. The follow-up was a Lennon-McCartney song, “Like Dreamers Do”, which also charted in the UK. Within the space of a year, their chart run ended with “Three Little Words (I Love You), which entered the UK charts in October, 1964.

“Just For You” was essentially a collection of video clips hosted by UK DJ, Sam Costa. With a different line-up of videos, the film was released in the US as "Disk-O-Tek Holiday”.
