Drummer Duel - Rhythm Heaven [HD WIDESCREEN] - Gameplay Demonstration

...a little different from usual, huh?

This is largely inspired by some works by Chloe (ChloeeChaan), though is also produced for separate, non-disclosable reasons. More specifically, I was inspired by the game reanimations seen in her "DANGANRONPA [2nd GIG]" custom remix video, which itself is based on an audio-only custom remix that I was required to produce some long time ago.

So, here it is: Drummer Duel, from Rhythm Heaven (DS).
There were many big hurdles along the way, from figuring out how to use the widescreen space, to redrawing many, many animation frames, to producing a modern design for an unused character. It doesn't help that even the used characters seem to be lacking official art.
I also can't draw.

This is primarily intended as a custom remix resource. It is currently only available for a select group of custom remixers, and will not become public until the end of the year (at the earliest).

While I would love to go into more detail on the process behind production, I should save it for another time. Will there by more of these?
Yes. That's a genuine "yes" from me.
Not too many, but enough to suit the needs of... something I will not discuss at this current time, plus more if I want to.

Oh, and of course, if you read these descriptions, you probably know that I leave a link to my Twitter page at the end of all of them. If you ever gave it a click within the past two weeks, you would've known about this project already. I don't really like using the website much, but it's a nice way to show off work-in-progress content.

I may upload a new chiptune work soon. Probably at the usual time. A new arrangement is already prepared, except for, uh... the graphical element, which always sucks to make.
