Last minute upgrade from the Marathon to the Ultra!

My goal was to run between 6 and 7 hours for this tough trail course, which has 4000 feet of elevation.

The course is a combination of the 10k and the Marathon routes to make the Ultra distance. Taking in the sights and villages of Belle Tout, Beachy Head, Jevington, Lullington Heath, Alfriston, Bo Peep, Litlington, West Dean, Seven Sister and Birling Gap.

I really enjoyed the event with plenty of friends and club mates running, volunteering, and supporting.
