India's Longest Road Tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir | Assam to Leh Ladakh, EP 6

The Chenani-Nashri Tunnel is a road tunnel located in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is a part of the National Highway 44 (NH 44) that connects Jammu with Srinagar. The tunnel was inaugurated on April 2, 2017, by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.

The Chenani-Nashri Tunnel is India's longest road tunnel, with a length of 9.2 kilometers. It is a bi-directional tunnel, which means that vehicles can travel in both directions through the tunnel. The tunnel has been built using state-of-the-art technology and is designed to withstand earthquakes of up to 7.0 on the Richter scale.
