I've made previous videos about Southwest Airlines at O'Hare, and you may recall that my experiences haven't been too great. Both times, my flights were forced to wait on the ground due to a lack of gate spaces. To be fair, I have only flown Southwest INTO O'Hare and never from the airport. That all changed last month when a trip to Dallas found me back onboard Southwest and flying them from ORD.

Southwest operates from Terminal 5 at O'Hare. The terminal recently completed a new eastern expansion, adding well over 10 new gates. Sure enough, Southwest's operation is mainly consolidated from here now. Enjoy this experience on the 737-800 from O'Hare to Dallas Love Field and stay tuned for the return flight experience coming soon!
