The Best Comics of 2023

This year was a big year for a few established writers and newer artists. I've broken down my favorites this year by comics which are new, ongoing runs, and limited series not from just 2023.
I've pared this down some from prior year lists to as much of the essentials of what I loved. Those included
Shazam, Local Man, The Hellfire Gala Fall of X issue X-Men Red, Batman, Amazing Spider-Man (yes really and please watch to see why) The Incredible Hulk, Newburn, Swan Songs, Danger Street, and Transformers
