Harjinder Singh, the undocumented truck driver accused of causing a deadly crash on Florida’s Turnpike earlier this month, is now in the custody of the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office.

The St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office (SLCSO) said Singh, 28, was extradited from California on Thursday, Lt. Gov. Jay Collins personally escorting him to the plane. He faces three counts of vehicular homicide stemming from an August 12 collision that claimed the lives of three South Florida residents.

Newly released video from the sheriff's office shows Singh being walked into the county jail for processing.
