"Perfidia" (Spanish for "perfidy", meaning faithlessness, treachery or betrayal) is a 1939 Spanish-language song written by Mexican composer and arranger Alberto Domínguez (1906–1975).

Boleros are the most romantic music in Spanish, and we can trace their immediate origins to "La trova cubana", a musical style that was popular in the eastern part of the country during the 19th century. Boleros are in the heart of all Spanish-speaking countries; from Argentina to the US, people sing their poetic sweet & sour lyrics, and dance to their versatile groves, that can be slow, or played as a Cha Cha, Rumba or Mambo. In Brazil, the bolero influenced the development of the Samba-canção in the late 1920s and early 1930s.

The project "Sabor a Bolero" brings the flavor of Spanish and Portuguese music to your party or cultural event. We can play as a duo, trio, quartet, up to a septet. For more information, call Gloria at (213) 8804187
