These two benches, most likely crafted in the 1950s or 1960s, exhibit a timeless design that speaks to their era. Originally serving in the public deeds registry office in Bologna, as indicated by the small metal tag stating "uff registroatti pubblici Bologna" affixed to the sidebeam, these benches were designed to accommodate the public while they conducted official business. Their solid construction and thoughtful design make them functional yet aesthetically pleasing pieces of furniture.
