RedHens, Paddle Steamers & Steam Locos! Goolwa & Lucerne in Switzerland has it all! We are SA Great!

SteamRanger Heritage Railway manned by mainly volunteers are working hard to complete track repairs close to Victor Harbor.
In the meantime they are offering a return service from Goolwa to Port Elliot so now is your chance to explore those wonderful seaside towns full of history!

On 11th June 2023 I filmed RedHen 428 and it's volunteers working tirelessly giving passengers a wonderful experience along the seashore from Goolwa to Port Elliot. Also on this day Brenton Dicker and Hayden Hill were assessed competant to drive Victor Harbor-Goolwa-Congratulations Brenton and Hayden! Supervised by Mark Batten-what a crew!

Oscar W was also thrilling visitors in Goolwa and I show footage from my experience of the day.

Goolwa and Port Elliot has a lot to offer visitors! The Goolwa Markets, the Goolwa town itself and ofcourse a walk along the Wharf looking at the birdlife and seafaring visitors! SteamRanger and Oscar W are one of only 2 places in the world to have Steam Locomotives and Paddle Steamers in the same place. Ther other is Lucerne, Switzerland but ofcourse we are SA Great!

Did you know that The Port Elliot Bakery 31 North Tce, Port Elliot won the title of best bakery-The Advertiser.
The beach is pristine and postcard worthy!
