J’ai représenté d’une façon plane et abstraite des parcelles de terre telles que j’aime les imaginer dans un monde qui ne serait pas terrestre. L’indication du titre et l’absence totale de perspective incitent à appréhender le sujet comme étant vu du ciel, alors qu’on peut également le voir comme une structure un peu futuriste érigée sur un sol d’une nature inconnue. Dans les deux cas, les couleurs vives et saturées finissent de valider la représentation d’un monde irréel. Pour donner de la densité et de la texture à la matière j’ai utilisé exclusivement le couteau en raclant plus ou moins sur la surface de la toile des couleurs opaques et transparentes.

I have depicted in a flat and abstract way parcels of land as I like to imagine them in a world that would not be terrestrial. The indication of the title and the total absence of perspective encourage to apprehend the subject as being seen from the sky, while we can also see it as a somewhat futuristic structure erected on a soil of an unknown nature. In both cases, the vivid and saturated colors finish validating the representation of an unreal world. To give density and texture to the material I used exclusively the knife scraping more or less on the surface of the canvas opaque and transparent colors.
