You Don’t Need A Pro Camera for Landscape Photography

I wanted to see the difference in image quality between a pro level camera and a beginner level camera. I took my Canon 5DMKiii and my Canon 400D/XTi to the beach along with my Canon 16-35mm f2.8L and 10-18mm STM lenses and took exactly the same photographs with each.

I came to the conclusion that while the Canon 5D Mark 3 did beat the Canon 400D in terms of image quality at a 1:1 scale, if you throw these files onto social media nobody is going to know the difference.

Just head out there, with your camera, and have fun!
