The Rhins of Galloway are comprised of two long peninsulas, one pointing north, the other, south. The sea kayaking tour around them is a classic, potentially very demanding, as these seas easily get rough as the tides swirl around the north channel of the Irish Sea. You need a minimum of two long days to get around in a single tour. Here, a couple of calm days provided an opportunity to paddle the tour in pretty good conditions.
