This 15 second lesson shows how to map the notes to reach the High C of La Bohème.
First we isolate the notes separately Ab4 then C5 then once the position is secure we sing the final phrase.
This approach comes directly from the García school. Herbert E Cesari wrote about Beniamino Gigli’s ability to see and feel each note individually across his range.
Practising clean glottal strikes on isolated pitches builds the security you need for extreme notes and keeps the mechanism organised instead of pushing.
